Consignment Options

Upon approval, Taylor Reserve offers several consignment options to accommodate client preferences:

Option 1: White-Glove Pickup
A representative from Taylor Reserve will collect your item, arrange professional photography, and market it to both our private and public buyer networks. All items in our possession are fully insured to ensure complete protection.

Option 2: Insured Shipping to Taylor Reserve
Taylor Reserve will arrange and cover insured shipping to our facility. Once received, your item will be professionally photographed and marketed to our private and public buyers. All items are fully insured while in our possession.

Option 3: Seller-Held Consignment
The Consignor retains possession of the item until it sells. For local clients, Taylor Reserve can arrange professional photography. Alternatively, the Consignor may provide approved photos for marketing. Items will be marketed to both private and public buyers.

Consignment Term

All consigned items are listed for an initial 60-day consignment period, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

If the Consignor elects to sell the item privately during the consignment term, Taylor Reserve must be notified prior to the sale so the listing can be removed from all platforms.

If the item does not sell within 60 days, consignment may continue by mutual agreement until the item sells.

Authentication

All items must be professionally authenticated.

  • Items held by Taylor Reserve will be authenticated by our qualified professionals.

  • If the Consignor retains possession of the item, proof of authentication (such as original documentation, appraisals, or service records) must be provided prior to listing.

Pricing

Taylor Reserve will recommend pricing based on market expertise, current demand, and comparable sales. Final pricing is agreed upon by both the Consignor and Consignee prior to any marketing.

A mutually agreed minimum acceptable price (“bottom line”) will also be established in advance.

Payout

Upon successful sale, Taylor Reserve will coordinate insured shipping or local delivery to the buyer.

The Consignor will be paid within seven (7) days of the completed sale. Payment methods include check, Zelle, Venmo, or cash for local transactions.

Withdrawal of Consignment

If the Consignor wishes to remove an item from consignment, Taylor Reserve must be notified in writing. If the item is in our possession, Taylor Reserve has up to five (5) business days to return or ship the item.

If the Consignor has retained possession, the agreement will be considered void upon written notice, and all marketing and advertising will immediately cease.

Loss or Damage

All items in the possession of Taylor Reserve are fully insured, and Taylor Reserve assumes responsibility for such items while under our care, excluding circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Items retained by the Consignor during consignment remain the sole responsibility of the Consignor, and Taylor Reserve assumes no liability for loss or damage.
